    The 'Day-Glo' slit skirt features striking lime green and tangerine stripes, originally screen printed in London. The hand drawn X-Ray Spex logo sits across the hip and Poly’s portrait is printed in 3 colourways from hot pink to red.

    We’re proud to celebrate Poly Styrene, who is only just beginning to receive the recognition she deserves; she was a true revolutionist. Her music and art inveighed against mainstream institutions, disposable culture, conformity and our alienation from the natural world.

Fabric & Care

This skirt is made of 100% cotton. 


We work with mostly natural fibres, which are less damaging to the planet. The cotton we use is natural, ethically sourced and also completely biodegradable.

How this skirt has been made


This skirt is crafted by hand in Somerset, England from 100% cotton. 


We work with a small atelier in Somerset. HADES is proud to know the names of everybody who has constructed our pieces. 


Our ambition is to create clothing that you will cherish for years. As it becomes clearer and clearer the damage that consumerism is doing to our planet, we are making products which last.
