    The walnut brown ‘Peaches’ skirt from the 'Afternoon of Life' collection features a screen print of a wicker basket of peaches, a nod to the inexorable passing of time. 

    The ‘Afternoon of Life Collection’ celebrates the second act of life. The collection is a meditation on the turning point we all reach in the second half of life, the  moment when outward striving gives way to inward reckoning. Jung wrote that to live fully, we must journey inward, confronting the shadows we once ignored and making peace with the self we abandoned in the chase for recognition.

This skirt is crafted by hand in Somerset, England from 100% cotton. 


We work with a small atelier in Somerset. HADES is proud to know the names of everybody who has constructed our pieces. 


Our ambition is to create clothing that you will cherish for years. As it becomes clearer and clearer the damage that consumerism is doing to our planet, we are making products which last.
