The ‘Countryside in Colour’ cardigan, a glorious, richly saturated image of the Scottish countryside, photographed by John Hinde.

Hinde was known for his nostalgic photographs of British holiday life, leading him to become the world’s most successful postcard publisher. His technicolour scenes create a record of British culture and leisure in the 60s and 70s.

The cardigan is a homage to HADES Scottish connections. Ever since our inception we have been working with the same craftspeople and knitters in the borders of Scotland. You can read more about the team here

Knitted in a fine gauge in Spain from 100% lambswool.

How we make your knit

This knit is crafted by hand in Cuenca, Spain from pure fibres, we never use synthetic fibres in our knits.
