Tilda Swinton x HADES | Nothing Matters Scarf
Featuring the slogan ‘Nothing Matters’ in hues of tangerine and burnt orange, this piece takes influence from Swinton’s grandmother, who was often heard extolling this mantra.
HADES studio collaborated closely with Swinton at every step of the design and manufacturing process of the collection. This process culminated in a collective June visit to the HADES manufacturing factory in Scotland, where Swinton met with the craftspeople who create the knitted jumpers and scarves in this collection.
The knit has been handcrafted in Scotland by Sharon, Shirley, Finlay, Sandra, Moira, Allan and Kevin.
Every piece will be gifted with a zine that includes 3 essays on the films that inspired this collection and a manifesto for the protection of U.K. fashion manufacturing. Campaign imagery by Maria Mochnacz.
